Pegasystems Inc (Nasdaq: PEGA), a provider of unified process and rules technology, announced on Friday (24 March) that it had licensed IBM Industry Models for insurance and banking.
These include the Insurance Application Architecture (IAA) for insurance and Information FrameWork (IFW) for banking, for use in Pegasystems' insurance and financial services Solution Frameworks.
According to Pegasystems, by aligning its SmartBPM Suite with IBM's banking and insurance business content Pegasystems can deliver more robust Solution Frameworks besides providing existing IFW and IAA subscribers with best-in-class capabilities to build out and deploy their model-based solutions.
