Pecorino joins CB Commercial to head East Coast appraisals.

Michael R. Pecorino, MAI, has joined CB Commercial Real Estate Group Inc. New York City as first vice president and regional manager for Appraisal. He will oversee all East Coast appraisal activity including the metropolitan areas of Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.

Previously, Pecorino was the director of New York appraisal services at Cushman and Wakefield where he worked for 10 years. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, he was a senior associate at Joseph J. Blake & Associates Inc. He has also worked as an urban planner for the City of New York Department of Housing Preservation & Development and the City of Jersey City, New Jersey Office of the Mayor.

Pecorino holds a B. A. in geography, planning and urban studies from State University College of New York at Onconta. He is a member of the appraisal institute (MAI), a licensed real estate broker and a certified general real estate appraiser in the State of New York. He has taught appraisal and market analysis courses at New York University's Real Estate Institute.
