Pearce ain't so Fab; RESULT !

Byline: DEREK McGOVERN ; JOHN SHAW

STUART PEARCE has done even more damage than Sam Allardyce to the reputation of English football managers.

The Under-21 boss (right), still trying to live down his breakdown in Sweden, has been pushed out from 8-1 to 12-1 to succeed Fabio Capello. Alan Shearer is the 7-2 favourite with Hills to be next the English manager of England but he can't even get the Newcastle gig.

Harry Redknapp and Steve Bruce are squashed in the betting at 11-2, and Bruce is also squashed in the nose. Gareth Southgate, at 8-1, should be.
