Peace offers chance for Nicholls.

Peace Offering can give Dandy Nicholls another sprint success by landing the Giles Insurance Brokers Heritage Handicap at Ayr today.

The six-year-old bounced back to form in terrific fashion at Newcastle last time with victory in the Gosforth Park Cup.

One of four Nicholls runners in that competitive five-furlong handicap, Peace Offering came out best beating Grigorovitch by a length and a quarter.

That was his first win since October 2002 when he was with Terry Mills and so his first for the Nicholls team.

Now he has rediscovered the winning touch, more victories can follow.

Geojimali has hit the bar on his last three starts but can come good in the Giles Insurance Handicap.

Despite enduring a bout of seconditis, Jim Goldie's charge has been a little unlucky more than once. Last time he just found one too good.

A race of this calibre is certain to come his way and this looks an ideal opportunity. Sama Dubai did herself no favours when beating a highly-rated rival on her racecourse bow and she will have to shoulder a hefty burden on her handicap debut at Windsor.

However, Sir Michael Stoute's Australian-bred horse looked a likely Listed competitor when she defeated Pirouetting by a length and a half at Salisbury.

Although that rival has been largely disappointing since, Sama Dubai knuckled down well and can surely have only improved for the outing.
