Peace cant be restore2 in Karachi without abolition of arms: ANP.

KARACHI, July 28, 2009 (Balochistan Times) -- President Awami National Party (Sindh) Shahi Syed has stated that peace cannot be restored in Karachi unless the metropolitan city is purged from weapons. While talking to a private TV channel here Tuesday, he stated that numbers of mafias were functioning in the metropolitan city, who have abundance of arms and were reported to be involved in the crimes of target killing, kidnapping and illegal occupation of properties. President ANP (Sindh) further stated that mafias and Police have under the table contacts with each other and to restore peace in Karachi the mafia culture should be eliminated completely, as without the consent of police no one could not seize even an inch property of the innocent citizens. He also elucidated that politicians just remain committed to achieve parliaments seat at any cost and they are least bothered about the basic problems of the masses.
