Paxton's annual townwide yard sale set for May 16.

PAXTON -- The Paxton Lions Club will host its annual Townwide Yard Sale on May 16, rain or shine.

There is an early bird residency fee of $10 for those who sign up and pay by May 10. After May 10, the fee will be $15.

In addition, Paxton selectmen have approved the use of the town common for residents who want to set up on it. The fee to set up on the common is $20 by May 10, $25 after that date. Space on the common is limited, so book early.

The Lions will advertise in the local newspapers and print a map of the town including your location. These maps will be available on the common the day of the yard sale for a $1 donation starting at 7:30 a.m. The hours of the yard sale are suggested to be 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

For official participants, the ReStore Truck will be in the parking lot of Paxton Center School from 2 to 4 p.m. to take any items to donate to Habitat for Humanity/ReStore.

Checks should be made payable to the Paxton Lions Club.

For more information or reservations, contact Lions Club President Nick Powlovich at (508) 755-7389 or nikopow@charter.net.
