Aside from portraying Stefan Salvatore in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, actor Paul Wesley is set to show his directing skills once again in an episode of the CW TV series. The 32-year-old actor teased about his upcoming work to his millions of followers on Instagram last Tuesday, Oct. 28.
"Boasting. It's that time of year again," Wesley posted on his (http://instagram.com/paulvedere) Instagram account paulvedere as a caption to the image shared that teases the words "Directed by Paul Wesley" on the script's front page. The latest details on Paul Wesley's directorial work on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 have been revealed in (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/vampire-diaries-paul-wesleys-directorial-745554) The Hollywood Reporter . According to the report, the TVD star will be sitting on the director's chair for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 11 titled "Woke Up With a Monster" which is scheduled to air in January 2015 after the holiday break.
However, the details on what or who the monster will be in the upcoming Paul Wesley-directed episode are still unknown. The current "monsters" in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 are vampire hunter Tripp (Colin Ferguson) and Kai (Chris Wood), the psychotic witch that Bonnie (Kat Graham) is stuck with in 1994.
Meanwhile, the TVD fans can recall that Paul Wesley made his directorial debut in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5. The actor proved that he can do the job of a TV director in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5, episode 18 titled "Resident Evil" where doppelgangers Stefan and Elena (Nina Dobrev) were having dreams of themselves ending up together.
In a THR interview back in April, Paul Wesley confessed that directing has become a new passion of him since it is something that he always wanted to do since his acting career started. The TVD actor explained that he was interested in acting but directing is what really stands out to him.
"I always envisioned doing it at one point or another," Wesley shared. The fans can currently catch actor Paul Wesley as vampire Stefan Salvatore in the latest season of the CW TV series while waiting for his directorial work to air in 2015. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 airs on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
