Paul B. Hugus.
Paul B. Hugus, a mortgage banker and licensed realtor since 1968, has been named president of Anderson Realty Capital Corp. Hugus will supervise consulting, loan placement and commercial real estate brokerage activities for the Red Bank, New Jersey-based company.
A former executive vice president at Midlantic Bank, Hugus brings to Anderson Realty more than 23 years of commercial real estate lending experience. As a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of American and New Jersey, Hugus holds the prestigious "Certified Mortgage Banker" designation, the most distinguished honor granted by the national association. He has also served on the Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association of New Jersey and as a president of their Educational Foundation.
Hugus has a direct and on-going association with more than 100 commercial real estate developers and investors on the Eastern Seaboard, particularly in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida.
A graduate of Northwestern University's School of Mortgage Banking, Hugus is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, the National Association of Homebuilders and the International Council of Shopping Center Developers.
Hugus has managed in excess of $5 billion of financing, primarily for commercial real estate ventures and publicly-owned homebuilders. He has successfully orchestrated leverage buyouts of real estate companies. In addition, he maintains relationships with some 40 mortgage bankers, wherein he has arranged for working capital and advisory services.
Presently president and member of the board of directors of the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, and a member of the Finance Committee of Middletown United Methodist Church, Hugus currently resides in Lincroft, New Jersey.
