Patriots qualify for CMass tourney.

Field hockey

Burncoat 2, Uxbridge 1: Olivia Samuels and Emely Betancourt scored in the first half as the host Patriots (9-1) topped the Spartans (2-6-2) and qualified for the Central Mass. Tournament.

Allie Volt scored with 10 minutes left for Uxbridge.

Algonquin 1, Lunenburg 0: Senior Maggie Wraight scored on a pass from Michaela Davies, while Abbie Haskell (1 save) earned the shutout as the host Tomahawks (5-1-2) topped the Blue Knights (5-3-2).

Hopedale 3, Blackstone-Millville 0: Junior Katie Rizzo scored twice and classmate Selena Frongillo added a goal as the Blue Raiders (8-2-1, 4-1 Dual Valley) blanked the Chargers (4-7, 1-4).

David Prouty 0, Shepherd Hill 0: Danielle Huston made three saves for the host Panthers (3-6-2), while Marissa Colby also turned away three shots for the Rams (2-6-2).

North Middlesex 3, Gardner 0: Kylene O'Neil scored twice, Marie Shepherd added a goal and Vanessa Indeglia (2 saves) earned the shutout to lead the visiting Patriots (1-8-2).

Worcester Academy 1, Winsor 0: Brittany Williams one-timed a pass from Julie Mortimer two minutes into the second half to give the Hilltoppers (2-3-1) the lead, and Gianna Polito (13 saves) made sure it stood. Katie Roche made a defensive save for the Hilltoppers.

Narragansett 3, Bromfield 1: Senior Erin Smith and sophomore Heather Burdett scored in the first half, and junior Olympia Moulton added a goal after intermission to spark the visiting Warriors (8-1, 5-1 Wachusett C).

Gabby Doben tallied in the first half for the Trojans (5-4-1, 2-3).

South 1, Leicester 0: Adrianna Cousins scored in the 15th minute and Katie Grady (5 saves) posted her fourth straight shutout as the host Colonels (4-5-2) edged the Wolverines (2-8-2).

Tantasqua 1, Northbridge 0: Jeszy McGuire scored with 2:28 left in the first half as the host Warriors (5-3-2, 3-3-1) topped the Rams (2-9, 2-5).

Auburn 4, Quaboag 0: Senior Jaime McNamara scored twice, and juniors Jordan Lavallee and Carly Zona added goals while lifting the host Rockets (10-0, 9-0 SWCL) over the Cougars (8-3, 6-1).

Nashoba 2, Marlboro 0: Olivia Hurd converted a pass from Emma Caviness in the first half, while Sage Feltus scored in the second half to lead the Chieftains (6-3-1, 4-0 Wachusett D) over the Panthers (5-4-1, 3-1).

Notre Dame 3, Wachusett 1: Caroline Andreoli scored twice in the first half and Molly Terry had a goal and an assist for the Rebels (7-0-2). Lindsay Sullivan had 10 saves for Notre Dame. Anna Guiney scored a goal for the Mountaineers (7-3).

Assabet 5, North 1: Liz Carney scored twice to power the visiting Aztecs (6-5). Kaylee Blanchard scored for the Polar Bears (0-9).

North Brookfield 2, North Central Charter 1: Sarah Smith and Tori Zalauskas scored in the second half to rally the host Indians (4-6-1, 2-4-1 Colonial). Chad Alden scored for the Tigers (2-4-1, 2-3-1).

Portsmouth Abbey 5, Bancroft 1: Allison Raines scored on a pass from Gabby Peterson for the host Bulldogs (1-3-1) in a loss to the Ravens (4-2).

Quabbin 3, St. Peter-Marian 0: Tiana Morin had a goal and an assist, Claire Kondrotas had two assists and Carleigh Zalneraitis and Lindsay Clark each scored as the Panthers (6-2-2) defeated the Guardians (3-5). Alison Bieksha recorded her fifth shutout of the season.

Girls' soccer

Oakmont 1, Lunenburg 0: Julia Rembetsy-Brown scored the winning goal one minute into the second half as the Spartans (6-2-2, 6-1-2 Wachusett C) edged the Blue Knights (2-6, 1-5). Kayla Rocheleau had six saves for her fifth shutout of the season.

Littleton 8, Fitchburg 0: Jenna Hlystek had three goals and an assist, Erin Dorey scored twice, Shannon Riordan added a goal and had three assists, and Joanna Farrell and Ashley Buraczynski also tallied as the No. 10 Tigers (9-1-1, 6-1-1 Wachusett C) upended the visiting Red Raiders (0-9, 0-6).

Clinton 5, Narragansett 5: Raegan Mulherin scored three goals and tied the game with just over a minute left, while Dakota Sorrelle added two goals as the visiting Warriors (2-5-2, 2-4-2 Wachusett D) played to a draw against the Gaels (2-8-1, 1-5). Meg O'Malley scored twice, Bridget McEvilly, Gabrielle Moscillo and Meg Moran scored for Clinton.

West Boylston 4, Tahanto 2: Kara Cooke scored the tying and winning goals in the first half for the Lions (5-3-2, 5-2-1 Wachusett D), who upended the Stags (3-5-2, 3-3-2). Alyssa Lacoy and Sarah Maykuc scored for Tahanto.

St. Bernard's 4, Ayer-Shirley 2: Rachel Pelletier scored four goals to lift the host Bernardians (5-5-1).

Maynard 7, Murdock 0: Alaina Speed scored four times, Shannon Smith had a goal and three assists and Haley Falzone and Jennifer Bosse each had a goal and an assist to lead the Tigers (7-1-2, 7-0-1 Wachusett D) past the Blue Devils (2-6, 1-6).

Northbridge 4, Tantasqua 0: Sophomore Devyn Jacobs scored twice and senior twins Casey and Sarah Boucher added a goal each for the No. 6 Rams (8-0-2, 7-0-2 SWCL) in Northbridge. Junior Holly White had three assists.

Southbridge 3, North 0: Ana Gonzalez, Alana Ramos-Rodrigues and Kailey Ortiz each tallied for the Pioneers (1-8-1) who blanked the Polar Bears (0-10). Victoria Trifone had six saves in the shutout.

Shepherd Hill 5, David Prouty 3: Lindsay Ferreira scored twice in the first half, and Meghan Dunn, Rebecca Costen and Kendra O'Malley added goals for the host Rams (2-6-2, 2-4-1 SWCL). Brooke Walker had eight saves and Ciara McKissick two assists for Shepherd Hill. Isabelle Saunders scored twice for the Panthers (4-7, 3-7).

Nipmuc 5, Whitinsville Christian 0: Nicole Murphy, Kiley Laroque, Alexa Mirageas, Kalene Laroque and Sophia Hegerty scored as the No. 9 Warriors (6-1-1, 4-1 Dual Valley) defeated the host Crusaders (1-7, 0-5). Amanda St. Germain had one save in the shutout.

Bromfield 3, Tyngsboro 1: Rylee Osgood scored twice and Sarah Duben added a goal to lift the Trojans (3-3-2, 2-2-1 Midland A) over the Tigers (6-3-2, 4-2-1). Olivia Notini scored for Tyngsboro.

Assabet 5, Bay Path 0: Alyssa Lamarche scored three times and Nicole Lento and Christina Skavicus added goals to propel the host Aztecs (6-1-1, 2-1-1 Colonial Athletic) over the Minutemen (2-5-0, 1-3). Lexi Pierce notched the shutout with six saves.

Valley Tech 7, Nashoba Tech 0: Freshman Shea Bottenhoue had two goals and two assists, Jessica Carneiro had a goal and three assists to lead the Beavers (6-2-1, 4-0-1 CAL) past the Vikings (0-9, 0-7). Noelle Trail had four saves in her second consecutive shutout.

Marianapolis 6, Lincoln School (R.I.) 1: Junior Caroline Soucy had three goals to pace the Golden Knights (7-2, 5-1 SENE).

Boys' soccer

Assabet 5, Bay Path 1: Amarildo dePaula had a hat trick, while Bryan Gonzalez had two to lead the visiting Aztecs (4-5, 2-4 Colonial). Tom Cole scored for the Minutemen (5-2-2, 3-1-2).

Auburn 1, Quaboag 1: Dean Lemansky scored 23 minutes into the second half to tie it for host Auburn (6-2-2, 6-2-2 SWCL). Jacob Wisniewski tallied with eight minutes remaining in the first half for the Cougars (6-3-2, 3-2-1).

Bartlett 9, Southbridge 0: Brendan Walker scored twice, and seventh-grader Sean Kunkel scored his first varsity goal to lead the Indians (8-1-1, 6-1-1 SWCL) past the Pioneers (0-9, 0-8).

Northbridge 3, Tantasqua 2: Cam Richards scored the winning goal with 15 minutes left in the game to lead the Rams (4-6, 4-2). Creighton Dorfman scored twice for Northbridge. Tyler Cave and Liam Seguin scored for the Warriors (3-5-2, 3-2-2).

Westboro 3, Ludlow 0: Senior Jamie Plowman scored twice, and senior Ethan Peterson tallied with seven minutes left to lift the No. 2 Rangers (7-1-1) over the visiting Lions (10-1), the top-ranked team in Western Mass.

Valley Tech 5, Nashoba Tech 0: Seniors Lee Sgrosso and Phil Burch, freshmen Dan Wotton and Kellen Kearnan, and junior Charles Brodeur scored as the visiting Beavers (6-3-1, 5-1-1 Colonial Athletic) rolled.

Clinton 5, Narragansett 3: Felipe Bispo had a hat trick, while Bruno Padilha and Emerson Rivas added goals to lead the host Gaels (7-1-1, 5-1-0 Wachusett D). Austin Myers, Chandler Pritchard and Seth Leslie scored for the Warriors (3-4, 1-4).

St. John's 3, North 1: Senior Sam Coveney, sophomore Adam French and senior Will Roberts scored for the host Pioneers (4-4-3), Joe Ahin had the goal for the No. 10 Polar Bears (3-4-3), with Marck Bastien assisting.

Loomis Chaffee 2, Worcester Academy 1: Steven Kilbay scored on a free kick in the 20th minute for the Hilltoppers (6-1-1), who allowed two second-half goals in the loss to Loomis Chaffee (6-1-1).

Hopedale 2, Holy Name 1: Junior Ramez Youseff booted in the winner off a free kick by Tim Martin in the 65th minute for the visiting Blue Raiders (4-5-1). Freshman Austin Firth gave Hopedale the early lead, and Jack Herndon scored for the Naps (3-4-1).

Bromfield 4, Tyngsboro 0: Senior Ben L'Ecuyer scored twice and classmates Mitch Sklar and Ezra Kraus added goals as the host Trojans (9-0, 8-0 Wachusett C) topped the Tigers (7-4-1, 4-2-1) to qualify for the Central Mass. Tournament for the 37th consecutive year.

Doherty 7, Burncoat 1: Sotir Roba and Adam Amoah each had two goals and one assist for the Highlanders (6-2-1, 3-0 Inter-High). Enrin Avalos scored for the Patriots (2-7-1, 0-1-1).

Marianapolis 2, Cheshire Academy 1: Senior Jeremiah Knipe netted the winner in the second half to lead the host Golden Knights (9-2, 5-2 WNEPSSA). Boys' cross-countryDavid Prouty 15, Southbridge 46; Millbury 15, Southbridge 44; David Prouty 26, Millbury 29, Millbury 19, Leicester 39; David Prouty 17, Leicester 38: Brendan Coughlin (17:40) set the record on Southbridge's new 3.1-mile course to lead David Prouty in a four-team meet. Matt MacNamara (19:44) finished second for the Panthers, and Sean Westerland (19:57) of the Woolies (2-5) was third. David Prouty's Ben Mondor (20:44) placed fourth, and Leicester's Colin Boyle (20:47) finished fifth. Southbridge is 3-6.

Pingree 17, Bancroft 43: Bancroft's Reid Heim (21:06) was fourth as the Bulldogs fell on the road. Collin Shanahan was seventh (21:31), while Liam Shanahan was ninth (21:57) for Bancroft.

Worcester Academy 15, Lawrence Academy 50: Keeland Calderwood (19:51), Peter Dykeman-Bermingham (20:24) and John Bowers (21:07) were the top three finishers for the host Hilltoppers (2-2) as they swept on their 3.1-mile course.

Uxbridge 22, Grafton 33; Grafton 15, Bartlett 50; Uxbridge 15, Bartlett 50: Brady Phillips (15:59) set a course record on Grafton's 3.0-mile course to lead the Spartans (6-1). Uxbridge's Luke Maloney (17:23) finished second, and Sean Cloren (17:44) of Grafton (5-3) took third. Uxbridge's Nate Manz (18:07) was fourth and Grafton's Kang Nam (18:25) fifth. Bartlett is 4-4.

Auburn 24, Tantasqua 33; Tantasqua 15, Northbridge 50; Auburrn 15, Northbridge 50: Thomas Gannon (17:19) and Matt Healey (17:36) finished 1-2 for Auburn (5-2) on its 2.96-mile course. Dan Peck (17:39), Mike Ostrowski (17:53) and Tyler Bulak (18:10) finished 3-4-5 for Tantasqua (5-2). Northbridge is 0-8.

Shepherd Hill 15, Quaboag 50; Shepherd Hill 15, Oxford 50; Oxford 17, Quaboag 38: Cody Kingman (18:17), Hunter Schultz (18:17), Jason Bangs (18:17), Lij Fossas (18:36), Brendan Pratt (19:32) of the Rams (7-0) swept the top five spots over 3.1 miles as host Shepherd Hill (7-0) swept past Quaboag (4-5) and Oxford (6-2).

Boys' golfSutton 164, Burncoat 189: Jarod Buffone shot 2-over 38 at Green Hill to lift the visiting Sammies (11-2) over the Patriots (2-8).

Gardner 27, Clinton 27: Mark Carpentier shot a 4-over 40 for the Wildcats (3-9-2, 3-5-2 Wachusett C), who tied the Gaels (6-5-2, 4-4-2) at Gardner Municipal.

Grafton 169, Northbridge 183: Senior Dan Gandek shot a 3-over 38 at Whitinsville CC as the Rams (6-4, 6-3 SWCL) fell to the Indians (10-4, 10-3). Matt David carded a 6-over 41 for Grafton.

Littleton 38, Ayer-Shirley 16: Nic Fontanella shot 2-over 37 at Groton CC to lead the Tigers (13-0, 10-0 Wachusett D) past the Panthers (0-9, 0-6) at Groton CC.

Shrewsbury 204, Auburn 246: Cole Ambach shot 3-over 39 at Mount Pleasant CC to lift the host Colonials (13-3) over the Rockets (5-7).

West Boylston 32, Tahanto 22: Sophomore Zack Magarian shot 1-over 37 at Cyprian Keyes to lift the visiting Lions (8-3-1) past the Stags (2-9).

Oakmont 301/2, Narragansett 231/2: Senior Kevin Maynard carded 1-over 36 at Westminster CC, taking medalist honors for the 10th time for the host Spartans, who prevailed over the Warriors (8-3, 8-2) to capture the Wachusett C title.

Oakmont (10-2-1, 8-1-1) exacted some revenge from last year, when the Warriors edged the Spartans by a half point to win the league championship.

St. John's 193, Westboro 210: Sophomore Tim Umphrey fired 1-over 37 at Wachusett CC to lift the host Pioneers (11-4) over the Rangers (8-4-1) at Wachusett CC.

Minuteman 165, Bay Path 187: Sophomore Hunter Girard shot 7-over 43, but host Bay Path (2-12) fell to the Mustangs (6-7), led by sophomore Alex Surdan's 38.

Nipmuc 9, Hopedale 0: Senior captain Jack Shuber shot par 35 at Shining Rock to help the Warriors (9-3, 4-2 Dual Valley) past the Blue Raiders (5-3, 1-3).

Quaboag 182, Leicester 196: Matt Koslowski shot 7-over 42 at Quail Hollow to lead the host Cougars (4-10-1, 3-9 SWCL) past the Wolverines (6-8, 5-7).

Lunenburg 321/2, Tyngsboro 211/2: Ryan Proctor shot 3-over 38 at Settlers Crossing GC to lift the host Blue Knights (4-7-1, 4-5-1 Wachusett C) over the Tigers (0-11, 0-8).

Girls' cross-country

Grafton 26, Bartlett 30; Uxbridge 19, Grafton 40; Uxbridge 17, Bartlett 40: Sandy Ghobrial (21:26), Jackie Caffarelli was second (21:41) and Carilee King (22:07) took the top three spots over 3 miles to lead host Uxbridge (5-2) over Bartlett (3-5) and Grafton (6-2). Grafton's Emily Peacock (22:21) was fourth, and Bartlett's Emily Powers (22:59) placed fifth.

Worcester Academy 22, Lawrence Academy 33: Meaghan Barry (23:13) finished the Hilltoppers' 3.1-mile course first, while teammate Suzannah Renzo (26:01) was second as Worcester Academy earned the win. Gwen Ream (5th, 27:47) and Maya Yoshikawa (6th, 27:57) also did well for the Hilltoppers.

Southbridge 20, David Prouty 35; Millbury 17, Southbridge 46; Millbury 17, David Prouty 46; Millbury 20, Leicester 37; Leicester 24, David Prouty 33: Angie DiDomenica won in a course-record 20:41 over Southbridge's 3.1-mile course, and her sister Maria (22:33) was third to lead Millbury to three victories in the four-team meet. Millbury's Alexis Violette was fourth in 22:42. Leicester's Jen Pajer (21:22) was second, and her sister Katelyn (23:50) placed fifth. David Prouty's Jessica Snyder (24:13) was sixth and Southbridge's Maura Deshaies (24:28) seventh.

Pingree 15, Bancroft 50: The Bulldogs' Bridget Donahue was fourth (23:12) on the 3.1-mile course at Pingree as Bancroft fell.

Shepherd Hill 19, Oxford 4; Shepherd Hill 21, Notre Dame 35; Shepherd Hill 15, Quaboag 50; Oxford 24, Quaboag 33: Stella Worters (20:05) was first, Hayley Chamberlain (20:39) fourth and Juliana Schultz (21:40) fifth on the 3.1-mile course in Dudley to lead host Shepherd Hill (8-0) to a sweep over Notre Dame, Oxford and Quaboag. Oxford's Julia Carrier (20:23) was second and NDA's Emily Knox (20:30) third. Hannah D'Angelo (26:20) was Quaboag's top finisher, in 25th.

Auburn 22, Tantasqua 37; Northbridge 23, Auburn 34; Northbridge 20, Tantasqua 33: Callie Hansson (20:45), Vanessa Badiy (22:19) and Jennifer Cacciola (22:38) took the top three places to lead Northbridge (7-1) on Auburn's 2.96-mile course. Brianna Allain (22:42) of the Rockets (3-4) finished fourth, and Northbridge's Erika Haverty (22:49) was fifth. Tantasqua is 2-5.

Girls' volleyball

Suffield 3, Worcester Academy 2: Abby Peltier had four kills and 30 assists, and Maria Cabrera had 12 kills and 2 aces, but the host Hilltoppers (4-5) fell to Suffield (5-0).

St. Peter-Marian 3, Burncoat 0: The visiting Guardians (6-5) swept past the Patriots (3-6), 26-24, 25-12, 26-24.

Worcester Tech 3, Assabet 2: Senior Jessica Ustinovich (5 aces, 12 service points, 3 digs) and junior Emily Trotta (6 kills, 1 ace, 3 blocks) rallied the host Eagles (3-8, 2-5 Colonial Athletic) to a stunner over the Aztecs (7-4, 5-2). Set scores were 25-22, 13-25, 14-25, 25-19, 16-14.

Douglas 3, Nipmuc 0: Victoria Griswold had 18 service points, 2 digs and 1 kill, and Megan Eldridge added 6 points, 6 kills and 5 digs to lead the Tigers (7-5, 2-3 Dual Valley). Set scores were 25-16, 25-22, 25-17. Lauren Brady had nine points and two kills for the Warriors (1-8, 0-5).

North 3, Doherty 1: Nathalie Rodriguez had 19 kills and 11 aces and teammate Jen Bui had 13 assists as the host Polar Bears (6-4, 2-0 Inter-High) prevailed, 27-25, 17-25, 26-24, 25-18. Karolyna Lisboa had 12 kills for the Highlanders (5-6, 1-1).

Main South 3, Monty Tech 2: Melineth Vasquez (11 kills) and Nikolle Rivera (10 digs) rallied the host Cougars (4-8) past the Bulldogs (3-8). Set scores were 15-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-23, 15-10. Ashley Brooks (3 kills, 12 digs) and Sara Brown (7 kills, 11 digs) led Monty Tech.

Nashoba 3, St. Bernard's 0: Junior Lizzie Shepple had 15 service points and two kills, and junior Theresa Cloutier added two aces and a kill to lead the host Chieftains (5-5) past the Bernardians (0-6), 26-24, 25-11, 25-12.

Whitinsville Christian 3, Sutton 1: Morgan VanderBaan had 23 digs and 17 kills, Katelyn Baker had 14 service points and Lauren Bek had 16 digs for the Crusaders (9-3, 4-1 Dual Valley), who edged the Suzies (7-3, 4-1) with set scores of 19-25, 25-17, 25-21 and 25-21.

Erin Messier had four kills and an ace and Taylor Dunster had 5 service points, 5 digs and an ace for Sutton.
