PatientCentral Technologies, LLC and VerdaSee Solutions, Inc. Team Up With Congressional Staff in Washington, DC for Disaster Preparedness.

Reuben Vasquez, CEO of VerdaSee Solutions, specializing in the design and implementation of first responder and logistics systems, met with Ms. Purcell and Congressional staff to discuss how medical care at mass casualty incidents and disasters requires rapid patient triage and assessment due to the overwhelming numbers of casualties, limited time and resources. "Many current systems rely on paper triage tags on which rescuers mark the patient's triage status and document very limited information regarding injuries and treatments administered in the field. This is not only an inefficient process, there is high likelihood that the tag will become lost or damaged during transport. We have resolved this with the ability to process patients rapidly with hand-held digital recording devices, wireless transmission capabilities and an electronic medical record which stores and transmits patient identification and treatment data to the incident commander. The incident commander can literally see at a glance the array of patients including their triage status and location and can more easily arrange transport and disposition to a local hospital."

What is truly unique about the partnership between PatientCentral Technologies and VerdaSee Solutions is the secure, electronic data interface capabilities between MyHealthArchive personal health information management system and with DisasterLink(R) disaster information management technology. The information silos between first responders, hospital and public health information management systems no longer exist.
