Patience runs out.

Leeds are preparing to draw a line under the buy-out bid fronted by Sebastian Sainsbury as frustration is growing and tempers are becoming frayed.

For just over a week, the situation has not progressed beyond claim and counter-claim to the exasperation of not only those embroiled in the pounds 25m deal, but also manager Kevin Blackwell, his players and the fans.

Sainsbury accuses Leeds of continually "moving the goalposts".

Leeds maintain they have yet to receive the proof of funding but Sainsbury denies this.
