Passing the Numeracy Skills Test, 6th Edition

Mark Patmore

101 pages

Beginning in September 2014, all applicants for initial teacher training courses in Britain are required to have passed the qualified teacher status skill tests in both numeracy and literacy before the start of their course. Patmore offers a guide to passing the numeracy skills test. It is a computerized test, he explains, with one section on mental arithmetic questions and a second section on written questions known as "on-screen" questions. He covers key knowledge, mental arithmetic, solving written arithmetic problems, interpreting and using written data, practice mental arithmetic and on-screen tests, and answers and key points.
