Passenger train derailed in south Kazakhstan, 12 hospitalized.

12 people were hospitalized in Atyrau region after passenger train following the route Almaty-Atyrau derailed, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan said on Sunday.

12 people were hospitalized, 6 in Atyrau and 6 at the Makat station.

On April 19, at about 18:00, 13 passenger train cars derailed. In total, the train had 19 cars, 16 of which are passenger ones carrying 586 people and 26 conductors.

By 6:00 am Sunday, the works on restoration of the railway tracks were completed, the trains continued their passages.
