Passenger in hospital with life threatening injuries following 'serious' two car collision in Limpsfield; The driver of the vehicle has also received serious injuries.

The passenger of a car is in hospital with life threatening injuries following a "serious" two car collision on Sunday (October 7).

Occurring inLimpsfield, nearOxted, the driver of the same vehicle, a Volkswagen Polo, is also in hospital with serious injuries.

Surrey Policeare now appealing for witnesses in relation to the crash that happened just after 1pm on Pollards Wood Hill.

A Ford S Max was in collision with the VW Polo. The road remains closed while on-scene investigations take place.

The closures are between Pollards Wood Hill junction with Wolfs Hill and Pollards Wood Hill junction with Boulthurst Way.

Surrey Fire and Rescue and South East Coast Ambulance Service with HEMS were also called to the scene.

Anyone who witnesses the incident, has any dashcam footage or witnesses the manner of driving of either of the cars prior to the collision is asked to get in touch. Call 101 quoting PR/P18241379.
