Parking solution is Superb.

SKODA has announced the optional extras and prices for its new Superb model, which will go sale in mid-September.

Park Assist, the system that identifies and steers the vehicle into a parking space will be available on the SE and Elegance models for pounds 350 and on the entry level S model at pounds 630.

Available on a Skoda for the first time, the system makes parallel parking in crowded streets and busy roads a doddle.

Other options include a multi-function steering wheel with radio and telephone controls, Bluetooth and DSG gearbox with paddles for manual changing. For pounds 100 the S and SE trim level models can be fitted with a tyre pressure monitor and all models can have rear side airbags at pounds 250.

All models will have electronic stability programme, seven airbags, front and rear electric windows and alloy wheels.

The starting price for the new car is pounds 15,490.
