Park Regis Kris Kin appoints EAM.

The Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai has appointed Michael Hiang-Tziac Chan as executive assistant manager to strengthen the hotel's executive team.

In his new position, Chan will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's standards and providing a heightened satisfaction to guests.

A graduate from the King's College, University of London (UK), Chan brings a wealth of experience to the position. During his career span of 30 years with some leading brands in the hospitality industry, he has served clients across the spectrum from dignitaries and celebrities to regular travellers.

Commenting on the appointment, Scott Butcher, general manager, Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai, said, "Chan understands that this profession demands nothing less than a passionately discerning eye for detail in order to achieve and maintain the highest standards in the industry. His dedication, team camaraderie, mutual respect, as well as the willingness to think out of the box will certainly inspire other members of the team to achieve the goal of service excellence."

Chan's most recent position was general manager for Hong Kong-based Lanson Place Hospitality Management's two developments in Kuala Lumpur - Ambassador Row Services Suites and Lanson Place Kondominium.

Earlier, he had held top positions in a number of reputed hotels and resorts including Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Singapore, Sentosa Resort & Spa in Singapore and Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort, Malaysia.

Chan is fluent in over half-a-dozen languages including English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, Fuzhou, Hakka Teochew) and French. He is also a certified ISO 9002 Internal Quality Auditor.
