Parental Leave.
I am shocked by the letter in the July 15 News under the heading "Parental Leave."
"Gestation & Lactation, P.A."? "Board Certified in Continuances"?
I am disappointed the News felt the need to print Edward B. Greene's letter as his comments did nothing to further the discussion other than insinuate that allowing a continuance for the birth of a child is "justice denied."
That attitude is part of the problem--attorneys from back in the day when women weren't supposed to be lawyers and men weren't supposed to help raise their children. That's why the rule is necessary. I am just at a loss as to why the News printed it.
