American Sahm has introduced its new "402E"
parallel-rewinder for tapes, laminates, foils and specialty products.
The new product features state-of-the-an technology, excellent
functionality and design, as well as flexible programming and
integration of mechanical and electrical controls for great care to be
taken in winding a range of different materials to produce high quality
packages. The parallel-rewinder can encompass a tape width up to 10 mm
and speeds up to a maximum of 250 m/min, producing cylindrical packages
with straight ends, a diameter of 250 mm, a maximum package weight of 15
kg and a traverse width adjustable up to 300 mm. Materials capable of
being processed on the 402E include polypropylene, polyester,
polyethylene, PA foil tapes, aluminum-laminated foil, rubber band,
nonwovens, PTFE tape, double-sided adhesive tapes, paper products,
twisted monofilaments and polypropylene tear tapes.
