May is a busy time of year for the Paralegal Association of Rochester, Inc. We are preparing to elect members to our board, present the Paralegal of the Year award at our annual meeting dinner, and firm up our sponsors, exhibitors, and advertisers for the 2019 NFPA Convention, which will be hosted by PAR here in Rochester from Oct. 10-13.

It's been a privilege being part of PAR; I get to experience how rewarding it is to be part of a body of individuals that strive to serve the communities we work and live in, create opportunities to learn from and to teach one another, and to continue to shape our profession in today's ever-changing world!

I believe that this is the year that you decide to join (or re-join) PAR's Board of Directors! If you are interested in a position, please contact a current board member and we can connect you to our nominating committee. All contact information for board members is on PAR's website at New faces bring with them new experiences and ideas that benefit our members. We look forward to working with you!
