Paragon acquires OMC and Tutela.

Pierceton, IN-based Paragon Medical, a supplier of custom and standard orthopedic surgical instrumentation, implantable components and cases and trays, has completed its acquisition of two Indianapolis-based companies: OMC Precision Products and Tutela Medicus.

"We are excited about our new relationship with OMC and Tutela," said Gary McGill, president and COO of Paragon. "Strategic acquisitions give Paragon more flexibility in managing and utilizing our equipment, while creating efficiencies that push down manufacturing costs."

OMC provides close tolerance machining and turning, finishing and assembly of surgical implants for the spinal and neurological markets. Tutela offers development services to assist medical device manufacturers and medical professionals with product development.
