Parade of Homes offers a look at the latest designs.
Looking for that special home, a new design or new dream?
The Parade of Homes, being produced by the professionals at the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of New Hampshire, will offer a chance to visit 10 spectacular new homes throughout New Hampshire. The tour will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 8-11.
The Parade of Homes will be open in Nashua, Milford, Amherst, Concord, Sanbornton, Meredith, Laconia, Gilford and Moultonborough.
Visitors can tour one or all of the homes to see the newest floor plans, the latest features in products, decorating and new-home technology.
Some of the features on display in the homes include the latest in home automation, entertainment and security, granite countertops, insulated concrete form foundation, exercise rooms, wine cellars and geothermal heat pumps.
Prices of the homes range from $259,900 to $2.2 million.
One of the homes, in Moultonborough, has been awarded the National Green Building Standard Certified-Emerald Level for green construction.
Tickets are $5 per person with proceeds from this year's donations going to Granite State Independent Living.
Tickets can be purchased online or at select locations. Major sponsors include Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Baron's Major Brands, Viking Appliances, Xtreme Audio & Video and New Hampshire Home magazine.
