Papadatos to design food processing plant.

Mutual Interest Transactions Inc., a leading food importer has decided to make New Jersey the home of its state of the art surimi seafood manufacturing plant.

The site selected is adjacent to the New Jersey Turnpike at the Port Authority Industrial Park at Elizabeth, adjacent to the IKEA Home Furnishing outlet.

The project, which will cost approximately $6 million is being spearheaded by Peter Doukas, CPA. Doukas formerly of Price Waterhouse and Touche Ross and Company, has been responsible in identifying the site, negotiating the lease agreement, preparing the business plan and assisting in securing financing.

The president of MIT Inc., Ha Young Park is recognized as a leader in the manufacturing of surimi in Korea for World Wide distribution. According to Park, the building will be designed by Steven Papadatos Associates P.C. Architects of Manhattan and will consist of 60,000 square feet of manufacturing, distribution, refrigeration and office area.
