Panto Pammy fronts up to paying for the home improvements; COLUMNIST lowriturner Talking Welsh sense in a mad, mad world.
PAMELA Anderson is appearing in panto.
The former Baywatch babe is the genie of the lamp in Aladdin. She is winched down from the ceiling for her first appearance and then pops in and out of the production (Pam - not her cleavage) for a total of about 10 minutes, spread over two hours.
Still, anyone who queries how much Pammy and her frontages are earning for this part-time performance is missing the point. Ms Anderson's ability to sprinkle a little Hollywood stardust is beyond price.
Plus, tickets have been selling like hot mince pies, so the producers are making their money back. You have to hand it to Pammy - she's a trouper. Anyone who saw the documentary recently with Joe Swash will remember her house.
She's had the builders in and they've run over time and budget, as they do. Only for Anderson, the overspend is in the millions.
So every time Pam climbs into her red lycra body stocking to mince about as the genie, she's doing so not to further her theatrical ambitions.
She's paying for some bloke to come back and finish the ducting in her utility room.
Women across the nation who've been led a merry dance by tradesmen, we salute you.
