Panasonic range of home appliances recorded remarkable growth in the region, particularly in Qatar market in the recent years.

Company officials and representatives of their local distributors Nasir Bin Abdullah & Sons (NAS) reported this at a gathering at Ramada Plaza Hotel yesterday where Panasonic launched its expanded range of Viera high definition flat panel televisions in the local market.

Impressed by the record levels of growth achieved by Panasonic brand of products in the country's markets, company's Deputy General Manager (Marketing Middle East) Abby Thomas expressed the hope that the same levels of growth or even better growth would be recorded in a growing market as Qatar in the coming years.

Thomas noted that it was a matter of immense satisfaction to Panasonic that the local market recorded an astonishing growth of more than 200% in the first six months of this year compared to the performance in Qatar in the entire previous year. The latest models enhance networking functionality in a slim profile and extremely attractive design.

"In 2011, Panasonic will be expanding its range of 3D and LED televisions to include 13 different 3D and 5 LED models for discerning Qatari customers to choose from.
