Panama Leaks: SC Bar apologises from endorsing PTI's stance for now.
LAHORE -- Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has apologised from instantly endorsing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) stance of formulating an investigation commission under the supervision of an in-service judge of the Supreme Court to probe into the Panama Leaks.
A delegation of PTI led by Shah Mehmood Qureshi met with SCBA officials on Saturday. Qureshi demanded that transparent investigation needs to be carried out in regards to the Panama Leaks, adding that PTI wants that an investigation commission be formulated that is led by an in-service judge of the Supreme Court to probe into the Leaks.
SCBA will announce its stance on the matter on April 18 after getting to know the take of the government and the opposition in regards to the Leaks.
