Palestinian delegation visits Jordan Chamber of Commerce.

A delegation from the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy visited on Monday the Jordan Chamber of Commerce to look at accreditation of certificates of origin.

The chamber's first deputy director Essa Murad said that Jordan is keen to support Palestinians and contribute to building their state and qualify Palestinian staff.

He told the visiting team that Palestine is a major market for Jordan, voicing hope for stronger trade exchange between the two countries.

Murad said the commerce chambers across the Kingdom have issued more than 35,000 certificates of origin during the first six months of 2010.

Jordan's exports to Palestine stood at JD14 million during the first four months of 2010, while imports from Palestine reached JD10 million in the same period.
