Pal suffered abuse; YourSay.

A SOLICITOR from Cork in Ireland interviewed a mate of mine who was abused. His mother gave birth out of wedlock, for which she became an outcast. She died on the streets of Dublin from hunger; she was a moral leper.

Her son was brought up in Irish institutions.

Regretfully the solicitor dropped his case because of lack of evidence. The evidence was spirited away, locked up by the Catholic Church. My friend died about two years ago in Warrington. The Salvation Army laid him to rest. He was 92 and received nothing.

The Irish government and Catholic Church cannot ever have a clear conscience, clean hands or clean hearts.
