Pakistan terms Indian fears of Sino-Pakistan threat as baseless.

Pakistan Saturday strongly reacted to the

Indian army chief's statement about Sino-Pakistan threats and termed it as

baseless. "We outright reject these accusations", foreign office spokesman Abdul

Basit said in a statement. Indian Army Chief General V.K. Singh speaking at a seminar on Friday said

that Pakistan and China are major security threats for India. The spokesman said that the allegations made by Indian army chief are

baseless and distortion of facts and called for "more maturity and restraint

before making such statements". "The statements by Indian army's high command regarding possible atomic war

in the region are highly irresponsible and detrimental to the peace and

security in this part of the world", he said.
