Pakistan andamp; Afghanistan to jointly work for Peace: PM.

MURREE -- Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has said Pakistan and Afghanistan will jointly work for peace and stability in the region.

Talking to media in Murree on Tuesday, he said the region is facing instability for the last many decades and time has come to work together both for Pakistan and Afghanistan to overcome this challenge.

The Prime Minister said peaceful and stable Afghanistan is very significant for Pakistan as peace and stability in Afghanistan is linked with the prosperity of Pakistan also.

Nawaz Sharif said both the countries are facing common challenges and it is time to work collectively for peace, prosperity and stability in the region. He said Afghanistan is brotherly neighbouring country of Pakistan and our stability is linked with the stability and peace in Afghanistan.

To a question, he said Pakistan would continue to support reconciliation efforts in Afghanistan to ensure peace and stability there.
