Pakistan Endocrine Society invites abstracts for its 10th annual symposium.

KARACHI -- Pakistan Endocrine Society has invited endocrinologists, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, allied health professionals and other healthcare providers to submit abstracts of their respective research work for its 10th Annual Symposium.

The moot is scheduled to be held on December 8 and December 9, organizers said in a statement issued on Friday.

The society's Annual Symposium 2012 is aimed at providing a multidisciplinary approach to the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of common endocrine disorders and will focus mainly on newer technologies, research and available options in the treatment of these diseases.

With regard to "Abstracts" invited from the medical professionals, they said these should relate to Clinical and scientific research work oriented in the field of Endocrinology.

Abstracts that are selected for oral presentation must be delivered by an author who speaks and understands English well enough to ensure satisfactory understanding by the audience at the Annual Symposium.

The decision of the Abstract Review Committee shall be final in all respects.

The deadline of submission of abstracts is November 15 till 5:00 pm. It will be strictly enforced and no submissions, modifications, corrections or additions by the authors will be accepted after the deadline.

Abstract selected whether for oral or poster presentation will bepublished in the special edition of the Symposium's Newsletter.

Award for the best oral presentation of abstracts will be presented to the author at the annual symposium event. However, the abstracts selected for poster presentation will be awarded by the jury at the annual symposium and upon review by general public as well.
