Pakistan : Petroleum and CNG prices hiked.

On Friday, the Finance Ministry formally gave approval to hike the prices of petroleum and CNG for the month of September. The new rates will be effective from September 1. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will shortly issue a notification in this matter. The price of petrol price has been increased by Rs 7.77 per litre and high speed diesel by Rs 5.94. Likewise, the price of kerosene oil has been increased by Rs 5.86; light diesel oil by Rs 5.54 per litre and that of high octane blending component (HOBC) by Rs 8.18 per litre. The new price of petrol is Rs 104.55; High Speed Diesel Rs 112.13; HOBC Rs 133.19; Kerosene oil Rs 102.21 and Light Speed Diesel Rs 98.84 per litre.
