Pakistan : Anusha Rahman Chaired the 23rd Board of Directors meeting of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).

The Board reviewed the progress on the PSEB plans to accredit itself with local and international regulatory bodies for certifying the IT Industry to increase number of international certified companies at minimal cost and in a short span of time. The Board also reviewed positive feedback of PSEB participation in Punjab Youth IT exhibition as Punjab Government s initiative to increase technology awareness among youth and appreciated PSEB efforts for provisioning of Wi-Fi services in the Evacuee Trust Complex, Software Technology Park, Islamabad and directed to increase Wi-Fi and other facilities in all STPs to bring them at par with international IT Parks for enhancing IT activities and making Pakistan a preferred destination for IT outsourcing business.

The Minister extended her full support to make PSEB a vibrant & dynamic organization to plan and develop a series of viable schemes and programs for strengthening IT industry of Pakistan to compete effectively and gain larger share of international business. Mr. Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar, Secretary IT and Mr. Salim Ghauri, Chairman P@SHA were also present.
