The Pakistan central bank has announced that it has made changes to branchless banking.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said that it has revamped branchless banking regulations to keep pace with international branchless banking practices. The move will also help financial inclusion in the nation, the central bank said.

The regulatory framework will mention the minimum requirements to be adopted by banks offering branchless banking in the market place.
