Paddy bids for 100th record.

TICKETS are on sale to see Warwickshire world-record holder Paddy Doyle attempt his 100th endurance title next month.

The Atherstone action man, who is in the Guinness Book of Records for holding 99 stamina, speed and fitness records - the most in the world - aims to complete his swansong during a press-up marathon starting on March 1.

Mr Doyle, aged 35, plans to complete more than 70 press-ups using the back of his hands in under six minutes and 58 seconds, and then do as many repetitions as possible in an hour.

He also aims to do more than 3,667 normal press-ups in an hour and then set an endurance press-up record by completing as many a day as possible.

The event will be at Cocks Moor Woods Leisure Centre, in Kings Heath, Birmingham, on March 5 starting at 1pm.

Tickets for the finale, which cost pounds 2.50 for adults and pounds 1.50 for children, are available from Paddy on 0777 1985916 or at the door.

Free tickets are on offer to the first four callers.
