PXI solid-state multiplexer.

The Model 40-681 multiplexer features a range of selectable switching configurations, and the versatility of its architecture allows all multiplexer banks to be interlinked and common connections used as extra signal inputs programmatically. This multiplexer is useful where a high-density MUX array is required that can adapt to different test configurations for different test targets or where a test system may need to be reconfigured in the future.

The use of high-performance solid-state relays ensures that the 40-681 MUX has a long service life even when hot switching into capacitive loads. It can sustain 1.5 A for 100 ms on hot or cold switching. Pickering Interfaces,
