PUBLISHERS EQUIPMENT CORPORATION ANNOUNCES SECOND QUARTER RESULTS

 DALLAS, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Dallas-based Publishers Equipment Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS: PECN), today announced a net loss of $396,000 for the second quarter of 1993 on revenues of $3,014,000. These results compare to net income of $1,000 on revenues of $4,138,000 for the second quarter of 1992. Year to date, the company reported net income of $104,000 on revenues of $9,253,000, compared to first half 1992 results of a net loss of $119,000 on revenues of $8,320,000.
