CLIENTELE: This is a pub to visit if you want to feel part of something.
The locals are very friendly and it is a bit of a community hub. Many of
the local characters meet to relax and chew the fat. You don't get
left out either, and might even be offered some fresh home-grown veg
being swapped within. 19 /20 DECOR: Pleasant and welcoming with rustic
stone walls and box sash windows. Simple and very comfortable. 15/20

terms with many of the regulars which adds to the warmth of hospitality.
The other staff are friendly, accommodating and very vigilant as empties
don't go unnoticed as they appear on the bar.
17/20 FOOD: Excellent pub menu with lots of choice, and very
generous portions. The baked potato with prawns is a tasty and healthy
lunch and definitely leaves no room for pud.
