PTI sends court notice to Akbar S Ahmed.

Islamabad -- Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has served defamation notice to Akbar S. Babar against the malicious, inimical and baseless propaganda against the party and its leadership on social, print and electronic media.

According to the details issued by party's Central Media Department the notice has been served by Central Deputy Secretary Information Fayyazul Hassan Chouhan through Advocate Syed Zaheer Hussain.

The notice seeks immediate removal of the defamatory threads from social networking websites and to produce an apology for the damage done to the reputation of the PTI and its leadership. It further demanded to make proposal for the payment of the damages for the harm caused to the reputation of the party and its leadership.

The notice seeks an apology with in a span of 14 days and also asked for an undertaking to delete newly published defamatory content regarding PTI and its leaders.
