PTI leaders discuss political situation with Karachi Bar Association.
KARACHI -- President Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (Sindh) MNA Dr. Arif Alvi said that Nawaz Sharif has no moral ground to stay as Prime Minister and he ought to step down immediately.
What kind of evidence Sharif family now requires as each page of JIT report contains entire chain of evidence. Nawaz Sharif and his Ministers are out to malign Army and Supreme Court in utter desperation and continue to give an impression as if it was some sort of international conspiracy hatched against them in the name of accountability. He further stated that if accountability was a conspiracy, Imran khan and amp; people of Pakistan would keep doing it.
Addressing the legal fraternity outside Karachi Bar Association after discussing issues with Mr. Naeem Qureshi, President KBA and amp; it's Secretary Mr. Khalid Nawaz Marwat, Mr. Alvi said that the ruling junta was preparing to take on institutions which could be very dangerous and amp; in that situation the lawyers community has to play a vital role in order to strengthen democratic norms and amp; supremacy of law as always done in the past. President KBA, Mr Naeem Qureshi also divulged that Pakistan Bar Council and Supreme Court Bar Council was soon holding an 'All Pakistan Lawyers convention' in Lahore to further discuss its role in this scenario. Qureshi opined that after having lost moral authority, the P.M. Should step down and amp; nominate an incumbent as P.M. Mr.Arif Alvi MNA and amp; President PTI Sindh and amp; , Mr. Fridaus Naqvi President Karachi Region, MPA Khuram Sher Zaman along with senior leaders Haleem Adil, Ilyas Sheikh, Dawa Khan Sabir, Tahir Malik and Riaz Afandi of Insaf lawyers wing were present on the occasion.
