PS3 PLAYSTATION GOES FROM HERO TO ZERO.

Sony has being pushing its new Move controller for a while now and many see it in direct competition with the Kinect as the future of game controllers etc.

Playstation Move Heroes is a game that has everything going for it.

Some of the most famous and favourite characters, going right back to the PS2, are front and centre in one game.

Rachet and Clank, Sly and Bentley and Jak and Daxter in one game! It's like the ingredients for the best playstation game ever.

However, it doesn't pan out that way and although the game concept is brilliant and for the most part the Move controller works great, the gameplay really doesn't hit the mark.

There are far too many repetitive situations, too many locations and environments that are confusing and boring and the co-op mode that should be epic is just really dull.

The fighting sequences are fairly complex and don't always work the way they should. Not sure if this is a problem with the Move controller or just bad gameplay in general.

There are sporting events scattered across the game that actually work very well with the controller and these are good fun.

Movement around the environments and especially in close-combat situations doesn't work very well and your inability to jump is odd and introduces a level of frustration that can only be described as sad given the epic star cast.

There is a two player mode but it's really no fun for the second player who is limited to controlling a secondary weapon that has limited ammunition and a fairly narrow scope of fun.

The idea is great, the Move controller is normally a winner but the combination here just doesn't work.
