PS3,000 target for charity spinathon.
FITNESS fans can spin themselves silly on Friday, March 11, as part of The Myton Hospices' Ten-Hour Spinathon.
Personal trainer, Tracey Milner, will be hosting the event at the Nuffield Health Centre in Warwick to raise money for The Myton Hospices.
Tracey has previously hosted a number of spinathon events in the area for Myton in memory of her father, Colin Robinson, who died after a battle with prostate cancer at Warwick Myton Hospice on Christmas Day, 2013. Tracey is hoping to raise more than PS3,000 for the hospice, taking her spinathon total to over PS10,000.
A representitive from Prostate Cancer Awareness will also be attending the spinathon event to raise awareness of the illness.
The spinathon will start at 9.30am and finish at 7.30pm, but participants can also hire one of the 20 bikes available at an hourly rate of PS7, which goes straight to Myton, so that those who are unable to cycle for prolonged periods can still join in by cycling for as many hours as they would like to.
Spinners are also encouraged to raise as much sponsorship.
Children are welcome from 5.30pm and food will also be available, with PS1 from every meal sold also going to Myton.
