PS10,000 given after fatal crash; NEWS IN BRIEF.

A FUNDRAISING page set up after the tragic deaths of a young woman and her six-month-old niece in a crash has raised more than PS10,000 in 24 hours.

Anna Williams, 22, and Mili Wyn Ginniver died in the crash on Thursday.

A family friend set up the Justgiving page to help the family with travel and hotel costs as they support Sioned, who is fighting for her life in hospital in Stoke.

It says: "Following a devastating accident that took the lives of Anna and her niece Mili and leaving Sioned fighting for her life, we as a close community are trying to raise funds for the family to ease the financial burden of travel, hotel, etc.

"We would like to convey are sincere condolences to the entire family and friends at this most terribly sad time."

The three were in a Ford Fiesta that collided with a lorry on the A487 in Gellilydan, Gwynedd, at around 11.20am on Thursday.
