PRUDENTIAL SECURITIES BEGINS NATIONAL ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN
NEW YORK, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Prudential Securities said today it will introduce a new national advertising campaign this week, developed to significantly increase individual investor awareness around the country of the firm's experience and expertise as a full service securities firm.
The new campaign represents Prudential Securities first national advertising effort in more than a year, and is the first to run under the firm's new name.
Prudential Securities, the third largest brokerage firm in the U.S. with some 6,000 financial advisors worldwide, was known as Prudential- Bache Securities until early last year.
"The campaign focuses on what clients value most in their relationship with a financial advisor," said Hardwick (Wick) Simmons, president and chief executive officer. "The new ads clearly and dramatically position Prudential Securities as a trustworthy and professional provider of value-added brokerage relationships for individuals."
The campaign will initially consist of a series of full-page print advertisements, scheduled to run repeatedly over the next few months in selected national financial newspapers and periodicals, and in daily newspapers in key markets throughout the country, according to Ronna G. Lichtenberg, director of marketing for the firm. She noted that additional print ads, as well as television commercials, will be considered later in the year. Lowe & Partners, the New York-based advertising agency, developed the campaign.
The ads detail the benefits investors find in dealing with a full service brokerage firm, in general, and Prudential Securities, in particular. Lichtenberg noted that the topics explored in the new campaign include choosing and evaluating a financial advisor; investing for retirement; and the benefits of a major full-service broker compared with a smaller regional firm, commercial bank, or discount broker. The ads focus on Prudential Securities' strengths, such as its reputation for quality investment research and the depth of training it provides its financial advisors.
"We wanted to highlight our training capabilities because clients increasingly tell us that the relationship they have with their broker is the single most important factor in their choice of a securities firm," Lichtenberg said. "Financial advisors with superior training, state-of-the-art technical support, and a top quality investment research capability make Prudential Securities a very compelling choice for investors."
Prudential Securities Incorporated is a fully diversified, global securities firm based in New York, serving individual clients in the U.S. and overseas through some 6,000 financial advisors. The third largest brokerage firm, Prudential Securities is a subsidiary of the Prudential Insurance Company of America.
