PROPOSED LAND EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE AGNEW CO. AND THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES; PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED

 OLYMPIA, Wash., March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The purpose of the exchange is to block up state lands and to facilitate the marketing of forest products therefrom and to provide efficient management of timber resources, minor forest products and to improve access, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) said today.
 The state lands comprise 801.47 acres, more or less, and the Agnew lands and others under consideration comprise 2,400 acres, more or less.
 A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 14, at 7 p.m., at the Department of Natural Resources' Regional Headquarters, 1405 Rush Rd., Chehalis.
 Written comments on the proposed exchange will be accepted through April 23. Send statements to the Department of Natural Resources, Division of Lands and Minerals, P.O. Box 47014, Olympia, WA 98504-7014. Refer to Exchange No. 394.
 The final determination of lands to be exchanged will be based on equal values. The proposal will be reviewed and considered by the Board of Natural Resources at a future meeting.
