 MONTREAL, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Promatek Industries Ltd. today


reported its results for the third quarter of the 1992 fiscal year.
 Net earnings for the third quarter ended on March 31, 1992, were $106,000 or $0.04 per share as compared to $204,000 or $0.06 per share for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
 Net earnings for the nine months ended March 31, 1992, were $501,000 or $0.15 per share as compared to $279,000 or $0.08 per share for the corresponding period of the previous year.
 Promatek expects a profitable fourth quarter ended June 30, 1992, as compared to the same quarter of the previous year where the company incurred an unusual loss of $200,000, due to the discontinuation of a product line.
 Sales for the nine months ended March 31, 1992, were $3,735,000 as compared to $4,291,000 in the corresponding period of the previous year.
 This quarter Promatek announced worldwide availability of its Vision 3000(TM) products. The company also announced Lift Analysis Version 8.1 and VPORT, a software tool for exporting Vision 3000 data to external databases.
 Since its successful introduction, Vision 3000 Lift and Posture Analysis systems have been used in various industries including airlines, warehousing, hospitals and clinics, consulting firms, and universities.
 Promatek continues to invest in research and development of additional medical related software products and in the worldwide marketing of its new Vision 3000 products.
 The Vision 3000 is a sophisticated software products in the $25,000 price range designed to assist industry in the ergonomic design of job- sites and reduce the billions of dollars lost annually due to back injuries and cumulative trauma disorders.
