 PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND PRACTICES COMMISSION
 TO MEET THURSDAY AND FRIDAY
 The Professional Standards and Practices Commission, which establishes and enforces standards for teachers, will meet Thursday and Friday in Heritage Room B, 333 Market St., Harrisburg, Pa.
 On Thursday, Jan. 9, from 8:30 to 11 a.m., the commission will meet on teacher certification and education and will reconvene at 1 p.m. to consider various policy issues.
 On Friday, Jan. 10, at 9 a.m., the commission will meet on a proposed policy for the acceptance of gifts, remuneration, and honoraria.
