PRIMARK COMPLETES REFINANCING

 MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Primark Corporation (NYSE/PSE: PMK) announced today the closing of both its $75 million revolving credit facility and its $100 million senior note offering. The proceeds from the sale of the senior notes, together with approximately 33 percent of the revolver, have been used to complete the refinancing of all of Primark's existing debt. The refinancing has simplified Primark's capital structure, eliminated potential equity dilution by 2.7 million shares and improved Primark's financial flexibility to pursue opportunities in the information services industry.
