PRIMARK ANNOUNCES TERMINATION OF TIMCO SALE

 MCLEAN, Va., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Primark Corporation (NYSE: PMK; PSE) announced that the agreement to sell all of the outstanding stock of its wholly owned subsidiary, Triad International Maintenance Corporation (TIMCO), has been terminated due to the inability of the buyer to obtain the necessary funds to complete the transaction by Aug. 31, 1993. Primark remains committed to sell TIMCO and is renewing its efforts to locate a suitable buyer for the company.
 Primark Corporation, headquartered in McLean, is an international company principally engaged in information service businesses.
