PRICE OF LOVE; Woman stole church cash to keep hubby's affections.
Deborah Stanger took almost pounds 12,000 from church funds in an attempt to buy her husband's love.
Stanger, 44, bought him a new car and used blank cheques signed over by the vicar at her Gateshead church to pay for her and her husband's lifestyle.
Over 15 months she wrote 16 cheques but her scam ended when police were called in.
Stanger could be jailed for up to six months after admitting the breach of trust.
