PRESSLEY OFF TO A RECORD START; Sky Blues away best.

STEVEN Pressley made a winning start to his Coventry tenure as his new side completed a club-record 11th away win of the season.

The Sky Blues recovered after going behind to an early Akpo Sodje goal at strugglers Scunthorpe to grab all three points in a 2-1 win.

Skipper Carl Baker levelled the game just before half-time and Leon Clarke, who scored 11 times in 15 games during a loan spell at Scunthorpe earlier in the season, nodded in the winner.

Pressley, who was unveiled as the new City manager on Friday, said afterwards: "The best thing is that I think there is more to come from this group of players."

The 39-year-old Scotsman will now be looking to improve City's disappointing home form against Colchester at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday as the Sky Blues try to keep in the frame for the League One play-offs.
